Care Services Manager
Louise Burden

I am Louise Burden and I have worked for Croft Care Services since 2009, I started as a Field Care Co-ordinator, I was then promoted to office Care Co-ordinator, which I did for many years.  I also have gained many qualifications in Health and Social Care including Level 3 and all the way up to level 5 diploma.

I recently was promoted to Registered Manager of Croft Care Services. This Job is very rewarding, I enjoy being able to help and support the elderly and young adults, with their care needs. I have an open door policy where the care staff can confide in me and support them with anything they need.

I joined Croft Care Services in September 2008 as a Senior Administrator.

I have my NVQ in Business Administration and Customer Service. Now I have two administrators that work alongside myself.  We all work as a team, and they are just as passionate with their approach to people’s needs as I am.

My passion is to help people so in 2010 I decided to also join the care team in the community on a part time basis and I am still enjoying doing so today this many years on.

There is nothing more rewarding than the feeling that you have made a difference to other people’s lives.

Holme House Manager
Dean Cadwallader

Hi everyone, I am Dean. I am the home manager of Holme House Care Home. I have been with croft care now for just over a year. I have worked in Health and social care for 14 years in various job roles. I have managed services for 4 years and attained my level 5 in health and social and management.

I fell into care by accident after my grandad was admitted to a care home who he spent the last days of his life. After seeing the amazing person centred and palliative care, he received I thought I could do that, and I have never looked back. My goal is to ensure that all our staff in the home are delivering this level of care and more.

When asked 40years ago “why do you want to be a nurse” I replied, “because I want to care for people” a simple answer, but still holds true today, I have always worked hard to ensure those we look after have the best care we can give.

I continue to work to raise standards across all aspects of our care home life, from hands on care and nursing to our home environment and the meals that we serve. My ethos has become one of “to help the people we care for to live as well as they can for as long as they can”.
